Meeting your goals shouldn't be easy which is why your focus needs to be on the work (even on rainy days). With an enduring passion for running science, and as a UESCA certified running coach, I love being part of individuals exceeding their goals. I have a holistic coaching approach that include far more than a long range plan and weekly training. With a selection of programs to suite differing needs I may be the right coach for you.
The first step is a casual no commitment conversation where we both get an opportunity to know each other. Depending on what you're looking for I may or may not be the right coach.
After assessing your current status and where you want to go we set up the long range plan together. Weekly workouts are provided on line and uploaded for my review after. The plan is never static and is always adjusting on the micro level.
All training is intentional and with a specific objective in mind and yes, this includes recovery. Depending on your goals, timeframe and fitness, differing training sessions and blocks are crafted to maximize return on your effort.
Depending on your needs, I'll introduce and/or reinforce secondary focuses into select sessions. Some examples of the many topics are nutrition, body composition, mechanics/form, nutrition, breathing, cadence, stretching, etc.
You're new to the sport, getting back into it or more casual this is for you. Focusing on the basics and working to build your self up (not break your self down)
You've got some mile under your belt by now. You've finished distance goals and are focusing on PRs. Getting your training right with your goals in mind will get the job done.
You're dedicated to this sport and are fine tuning yourself most days. The training can't overlook any detail and needs constant vigilance.
